Education & workshops 

Rachael Nanyonjo has worked in the UK, Germany and Uganda teaching dance, theatre workshops and developing new partnerships and projects. In 2015 she was a British Council & Arts Council Artists International Development Fun recipient on a dance research development and documentation project to Kampala Uganda working with Tabuflo Dance Company, Mackeree Univeristy, Ndere Centre and arts organisation Batalo East.  Below you can find out about some of the different educational services she offers.

Teaching

Commissions 

 Rachael  creates choreographies and new work not only for her company Kansaze Dance Theatre company but for other creative organisations in and outside of dance. Though drawing on her passion to respond to social cultural themes Rachael’s works fuse theatre, film, music, fine art and appear in theatres and non-conventional spaces.

Workshops & Master Classes

Rachael runs  bespoke workshops in theatre and dance which are tailored to meet the needs and level of the group. Rachael works with a wide range of individuals from under 18s, students/graduates and professional and non -professional performers. Rachael collaborates with different art forms and runs cross art form workshops sharing her process of devising. Clients include The Young Vic, Roehampton University, Old Vic, Almeida Theatre, Brit School, University of East London.
