Assata She Who Struggles                                      (Film) AMAZINA exploring dance and culture in Uganda

Rachael began her directing journey in 2013 when she became a recipient of the Pitch It award from the London Hub of Sustained Theatre. Through the award she was mentored and supported to develop her first dance theatre play 2:1 that since went on to be programmed at Rich Mix, Tara Arts and Camden Peoples Theatre. Since she became a member of the Young Vic directors programme and has worked as an assistant director and director within London. Rachael directed her first dance documentary as a result of the One dance UK trailblazer fellowship and her British Council AIDF trip to Uganda. The documentary currently AMAZINA explores dance, politics and culture in Uganda.
